Lathe & Plaster Removal

Nearly all plaster walls contain lead or lead paint, therefore planning is essential to ensure lead safe work practices. This includes, creating an isolated work area, and establishing a strategy for debris removal and disposal.

During demolition, we carefully and systematically dismantle the walls and break plaster into small pieces for easier removal. This is a vary dusty and potentially hazardous process so every precaution is taken up to or beyond EPA recommendations for safe work. Demolition waste is sorted and recycled whenever possible.

Plaster on Brick

Brick walls and chimneys in older homes were often finished with plaster. The removal of this plaster can be difficult and time consuming. There are 2 finish options, "rough finish" (seen in the bottom of picture) where the bulk of plaster is removed but some will remain boned, or "clean finish" (seen in center of the picture) where brick is scrubbed to remove as much plaster as possible.

Plaster often has lead based paint present so all EPA lead safe work practices are adhered too.

Clean Finish $10/sq ft*
